How It Works

You stay in control from the first step to the last: start online (or use the free printable guide), post your jewellery tracked to our PO Box, and decide on the itemised written offer we email you. Nothing is sold until you say yes, and if you decline your items come back by tracked post at no charge.

Once you've posted, create a free My Gold Account with your reference number and tracking number. It shows your parcel's status from posted to paid, lets you upload ID privately, and keeps every offer and receipt in one place.

How mailing works

Four simple steps. You decide whether to sell.

Sign up online (or use the printable seller guide), post your jewellery tracked, review your itemised written offer, then accept or decline.

Pack and post tracked

Wrap each piece and enclose a note with the number we emailed you, your first and last name, driver’s licence number and state, email, phone and bank details (account name, BSB, account number) in a sealed envelope (or the signed form if you used paper). Post by Australia Post Registered or Express Post (signature on delivery) to PO Box 5165, Mordialloc VIC 3195.

We photograph, test and itemise

Your parcel is opened on camera, each item tested for purity and weighed, and you receive a written offer listing every piece with its grams, rate per gram and total.

Accept or decline

Accept and we pay by bank transfer to the account in your name, reimburse your postage and email a receipt. Decline and your items return by tracked post at no charge.

Print the seller form

Use this instead of signing up online. Fill in your details, sign the ownership declaration and post it with your gold. You don’t need to list your items.

  1. Complete and sign

    Your name, return address, phone and email, and the signed declaration that you own the items and are 18 or over.

  2. Add photo ID

    Upload your driver licence privately in your My Gold Account, or enclose a clear copy in a sealed envelope. Never send originals.

  3. Using a passport?

    Also include a recent utility bill or bank statement showing your name and home address.

  4. Pack and post

    Wrap each piece separately, put the form inside, and post tracked with signature on delivery. Keep your receipt.

Mailing your gold

Post your parcel with Australia Post Registered Post or Express Post with signature on delivery. Both are tracked door to PO Box, and the moment your parcel is signed for your items are held securely at our risk.

Pack it

Each piece in its own small bag or wrap, inside a padded bag or small rigid box, with your note (the number we emailed you, your name, driver’s licence number and state, email, phone and bank details: account name, BSB and account number, sealed in an envelope) or the signed seller declaration. Upload ID privately in your My Gold Account or enclose a copy in a sealed envelope.

Track it

Add your tracking number in your My Gold Account (where you also upload your ID and bank details), or email it to us, and we’ll confirm the moment it arrives.

Postage reimbursed
