You post your jewellery to us yourself using Australia Post, tracked and signed for. Keep the receipt: when you accept our offer we reimburse your standard tracked postage, and if you decline we return your items by tracked post free of charge.
Which service to use
For most parcels, Australia Post Registered Post (signature on delivery, tracking) or Express Post with Signature on Delivery is right. Both deliver to our PO Box. Australia Post offers optional Extra Cover; whether you add it is your choice, and it is not reimbursed. Tracking alone is not insurance, so match the service to the value you are sending.
Where to send
Mail Your Gold
PO Box 5165
MORDIALLOC VIC 3195
Australia
This is a postal address, not a shop. Please don't write "gold" or "jewellery" anywhere on the outside of the parcel.
What to put inside
- Your jewellery, with each piece in its own small bag or wrap so items don't scratch each other, inside a padded bag or small rigid box.
- If you started online: a note with your reference number, first and last name, driver's licence number and state, email address, phone number and bank details for payment (account name, BSB and account number), in a sealed envelope. If you used paper: the signed seller declaration from the free guide.
- Photo ID: upload it privately in your My Gold Account rather than enclosing copies if you can.
Your My Gold Account
Open your free My Gold Account with your reference number, ideally before you post. In it you upload photos of your driver's licence, add your bank details for payment and, once posted, add your tracking number. You can also email the tracking number and your full name to enquiries@mailyourgold.com.au. We'll confirm the moment the parcel is signed for, and from that point your items are held securely at our risk until they are paid for or returned.
Returns
If you decline the offer, or there is anything we cannot buy, we return it to the address you gave us by tracked, signature-on-delivery post at no cost to you. Full detail is in our terms of sale.
