Everything you need to post gold jewellery to us safely, in the order you'll do it. Allow about fifteen minutes plus a trip to the post office.
1. Download and print the seller guide
Download the free guide and seller declaration, instantly, no details required, or enter your email to have it sent to you. Fill in your name, return address, phone and email, and sign the ownership declaration.
2. Sort out your ID
The simplest option is to create a free My Gold Account and upload the front and back of your driver licence (or passport / proof-of-age card) there, with nothing to photocopy or enclose. Otherwise put a clear copy in a small sealed envelope inside the parcel. Never send originals, and never email ID.
3. Pack it
- Photograph your items for your own records.
- Put each piece in its own small zip bag or tissue wrap so nothing scratches or tangles.
- Place the items, the signed declaration and (if enclosing) the sealed ID envelope in a padded bag or small rigid box. Australia Post padded bags are ideal.
- Seal it well and write only the address, with nothing that hints at the contents.
4. Post it tracked
At any Australia Post outlet, send it Registered Post or Express Post with Signature on Delivery to:
Mail Your Gold
PO Box 5165
MORDIALLOC VIC 3195
Extra Cover is optional and your choice. Keep the lodgement receipt: accept our offer and we reimburse the standard tracked postage.
5. Tell us it's on the way
Add the tracking number in your My Gold Account or email it to enquiries@mailyourgold.com.au. We'll confirm the moment it's signed for, and from then on it is held securely at our risk.
6. Watch for your offer
We photograph, test and weigh each piece and email you an itemised offer. Accept and we pay by bank transfer to the account in your name; decline and your items come back by tracked post at no charge.
